A globally recognised payments innovator, Michael has already pioneered the development of numerous world-leading payment technologies and products, including littlepay where he successfully developed the first open-loop Model 2 PAYG payment gateway that was deployed from mid-2017 by multiple UK transport operators. He has co-founded three fintechs and played significant sales, strategy and advisory roles within financial and paytech organisations. A proven visionary in payment technology, Michael is continually seeking smarter ways to address industry challenges.

A multi-talented software engineer turned product manager, Belinda has over 15 years experience working with small B2B businesses building SaaS products. Belinda’s entrepreneurial and strategic vision has seen her lead SaaS product teams, define development direction and launch new tech to market across numerous industry-leading platforms. She was a foundation employee of HROnboard as Head of Product and part of the executive leadership team, taking the cloud-based employee on-boarding software from concept through go-to-market phase to its current position as a recognised leader in HR technology solutions; with 250+ enterprise customers within Australia & New Zealand.

Simon has over 20 years experience working with software engineers and product managers in Australia, the USA and Asia to build solutions that achieve the product vision. That experience has seen him work across all aspects of software, business processes and Information Management within marketing, data and other departments within large scale companies. He knows his way around platform back-ends and database designs, with multiple coding languages in his toolkit. Simon has played critical roles in building B2B SaaS products from the ground up, as well as securing personally identifiable data so that it exceeds industry standards.

An experienced startup operator, Yona has worked across sales and strategy at various innovative early-stage business in Melbourne, Tel Aviv, and New York. He most recently spent 3+ years at payments start-up Airwallex helping to build a high-performance API sales motion focused on enterprise and strategic clients. Yona employs a highly consultative and collaborative solution-selling approach that enables him to build strong relationships with his clients and help them solve challenging business problems. His passion is to work with high-performance teams at fast-paced and disruptive technology companies which is what draw him to tikpay!

We got rid of the need for you to use legacy systems - any of them. Commodity technology is more affordable, more flexible and more intuitive than proprietary hardware. We’ve removed reliance on out-dated (and difficult to update) systems to instead deliver continuous enhancements that enable operators and authorities to offer modern travellers the kind of payment experience they always expected.
The transportation space is going through a paradigm shift where the traditional systems of payments have created obstacles for both commuters and providers, combined with inefficiencies in reconciling transactions. tikpay is aiming to disrupt this space and we’re super excited to back them and support them on their journey.
Tikpay is building a truly modern ticketing and payment solution that will empower travellers to pay for and use transport however, whenever, and wherever they choose - all whilst reducing ticketing costs for operators by 40% or more. Michael, Belinda, and the team are truly big-picture thinkers when it comes to the transport industry.
